Traditional celemonies

Good day mate! Today, I introduce you about traditional Japanese celemonies during builing a house.

One is called "Jichinsai" in Japanese, it means ground breaking celomony, we ask the god of earth to have permission to use the land for buildings. We pray the god for keeping safety of construction.

The other is called "Joutoushiki", the ceremony of putting up the ridgepole. We show respect to the god of building and artificer, and are grateful for them.

When we have a celebration, we serve rice cakes to neighbors, throwing it out.

Do you have this kind of celemony in your country?
